What is the Studapart x Allianz initiative?
What is that ?
This is an initiative co-built by Studapart and Allianz France, which makes vacant accommodation available free of charge to the French medical profession during the period of crisis we are going through. The purpose of this system is to simplify and secure the contact between owners of available accommodation (s) and health professionals looking for accommodation.
Is it a free service?
Yes. Volunteer owners make their accommodation available free of charge on the Studapart platform. Studapart does not receive any commission. The tenant's home insurance is covered by Allianz until the end of the provision.
Who will benefit from the accommodation made available?
This system is open to medical and social staff mobilized in French hospitals and nursing homes (students and volunteers included).
Who will check that people are members of the nursing staff?
Requests are handled on a case-by-case basis by our teams. Each person with whom you will be put in touch will have a verified profile and confirmed eligible for the program.
In which cities is this initiative available?
This initiative is available everywhere in mainland France.
What type (s) of accommodation can I offer?
For health security reasons, the accommodation offered must be whole: studio, one-bedroom, one-bedroom apartment, or bedroom in a student residence. Unfortunately, homestay rooms cannot be made available.
I am a private owner: how can I make my accommodation available?
- Step 1: contact proprietaires.ensemble@studapart.com indicating: name / first name, address and type of accommodation offered, date and duration of availability, electricity meter on the way or not
- Step 2: receive an email with the procedure to make your accommodation available free of charge on the platform.
- Step 3: the team puts you in touch with the caregiver, manages their arrival and departure on the premises
I am a residence manager and I would like to make one or more rooms available: how do I join the initiative?
Contact Ingrid Dontot at the following address: ingrid@studapart.com. The Head of the Studapart residences division will tell you how to participate in the initiative.
Do I have to establish a rental contract specifically for this provision?
Not necessarily. The contact made by our teams is sufficient. You still have the option of establishing a date-to-date housing provision contract with a rent of 0 € and a Guarantee deposit of 0 €. It will be offered to you by our teams.
Do I have to take care of the tenant's home insurance?
No. The tenant's home insurance is covered by our partner Allianz, for the duration of the provision.
Do I have to take care of the cleaning of the accommodation?
Yes. These costs are the responsibility of the lessor.
Does my electricity meter have to be active?
Yes. Your meter must be active for the start of the rental. The costs will be borne by the lessor.
I want to carry out an initial inventory. How to do it remotely?
You can send the tenant a model of the inventory, as well as their copy of the same pre-filled document. Provided with these documents, the tenant can carry out the inventory himself by completing his copy of the inventory and taking supporting photos. You can call each other at the time of the inventory to confirm each item together, and send your signed copy to each other once the inventory is complete.
How to hand over the keys remotely?
You can send them by registered mail either to the current address of the tenant, or to the caretaker of the building, or to a trusted person nearby.
I have to go to the scene. How to manage a contactless entry into the premises?
Landlords should not normally be on the premises, but there may be times when you have no choice, especially if you have no other way to pass the keys to the tenant.
Appointment on the spot in small committee: if possible, only the owner and the tenant concerned. Each of you have your exceptional travel certificate, possibly supplemented by a certificate showing the honor of your trip (a copy of your Studapart reservation, for example) as they may be requested from you in the event of an inspection.
Avoid physical contact
Do not shake hands, avoid handing you documents or keys directly into your own hands: prefer to place them on a previously cleaned surface.
Apply sanitary preventions
If possible, wear gloves and a mask. Do not touch your face and wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, at the start and end of the checkup.
Put some distance
Stay at least 1 meter from each other. Avoid being in the same room, instead take turns checking the condition of the rooms.
Stay connected
Distancing measures can be confusing - use more empathy to maintain the connection. We can still smile at each other, and discuss more about what could not be said face to face in writing or on the phone afterwards.
