Situé entre le Cours Julien et la Canebière, on apprécie son caractère central et cosmopolite.
Surnommé le ventre de Marseille, le quartier Noailles est bouillonnant de vie et arbore des allures de souks. Composé d’étroites ruelles, de petites places et d’immeubles anciens à l’architecture classique, Noailles, est l’un des quartiers les plus vivants et dépaysants de la cité phocéenne. Quartier d’ombres et de lumières, de nombreuses cultures s’y mélangent en faisant un lieu atypique. Connu pour son marché quotidien, le marché des Capucins, il est fréquenté par toutes les catégories sociales : étudiants, retraités…

Noailles est pour ainsi dire un quartier véritablement dépaysant. Ses rues fleuries et les nombreux commerces alimentaires qui le jalonnent ont pignon sur rue.

Autrefois réservé aux bourgeois de la ville, Noailles a tout de même gardé une trace de cet héritage avec un magnifique bâtiment de type haussmannien, le célèbre Grand Hôtel Noailles, aujourd’hui réhabilité en commissariat mais qui n’en reste pas moins une adresse chic et prestigieuse de par son architecture. À voir également, l’hôtel Louvre et Paix, classé au titre de monument historique pour sa sublime façade et son majestueux escalier.
